PT_ Crises. Lutas e resistências - A arte como expressão libertadora do interior.

As vozes da mudança já se ouvem, já se fazem sentir. Por vezes incomodam. O tema Crises surge, quase que naturalmente, em diálogo com o contexto atual.
As mulheres sempre estiveram mais expostas a todo o tipo de crises: económicas, sociais, ambientais e, acima de tudo, de direitos.
Com esta exposição queremos gerar debate e reflexão sobre as Crises que atingem as mulheres - olhar ao redor e expor diferentes realidades e mundos de quem se inquieta, dando voz às suas obras e fazendo-as alcançar novos horizontes. É um encontro com as visões de artistas visuais sobre o tema: ouviremos os gritos, sussurros e expressões que nos apontem a uma crise.

Para a sua 4ª edição, o PORTO FEMME – Festival Internacional de Cinema, lançou um convite especial às mulheres artistas, de Portugal e do mundo para apresentar obras, no campo das artes visuais, que se encaixem no tema Crises. A ideia é criar um corpo de trabalhos diversos, que se organizam e dialogam entre si, ligados pela temática e apresentando a mesma origem: serem criações de mulheres-artistas. 
Nesta edição, a exposição desenvolveu-se em parceria com a Universidade da Beira Interior, em particular com alunxs dos cursos do primeiro ciclo em Ciências da Cultura e do mestrado em Estudos de Cultura. 
A presente exposição apresenta um carácter itinerante, sendo que ocorre em dois momentos e espaços distintos. Crises teve a sua estreia na Covilhã de 11 de Junho e o 4 de Julho na Covilhã. Neste segundo momento, a mesma exposição estará em exibição   na Casa das Associações no Porto entre o dia 30 de Setembro e o dia 5 de outubro.
A exposição inclui 47 obras de 26 artistas.
A inauguração dá-se a 30 de setembro pelas 17h.


EN_ Crises. Struggles and resistance - Art as a liberating expression of the interior.

The voices of change are already being heard, they are already being felt. Sometimes they bother. The theme Crises arises, almost naturally, in dialogue with the current context.
Women have always been more exposed to all kinds of crises: economic, social, environmental and, above all, rights.
With this exhibition, we want to generate debate and reflection about the Crises that affect women - to look around and expose different realities and worlds of those who are concerned, giving voice to their works and making them reach new horizons. It is an encounter with the visions of visual artists about the theme: we will hear the screams, whispers and expressions that point us to a crisis.

For its 4th edition, PORTO FEMME – International Film Festival, launched a special invitation to women artists, from Portugal and around the world, to present works in the field of visual arts that fit the Crisis theme. The idea is to create a body of diverse works, which are organized and create dialogue with each other, connected by the theme and with the same origin: being creations of women-artists.
In this edition, the exhibition was developed in partnership with the University of Beira Interior, in particular with students of the first cycle courses in Cultural Sciences and the Masters in Cultural Studies.
This exhibition has an itinerant character, taking place in two distinct moments and spaces. Crises had its debut in Covilhã between 11th of June and the 4th of July in Covilhã. In this second moment, the same exhibition will be on display at Casa das Associações in Porto between the 30th of September and the 5th of October.
The exhibition includes 47 works by 26 artists.

The inauguration will start at 5pm, september 30th.
