What the Frack?! Palestra de ASMAA (Algarve Surf and Marine Activities Association/Associação de Surf e Actividades Marítimas em Portugal) sobre Fracking em Portugal:

A exploração de gás e petróleo é um risco actual no Algarve e no Alentejo. Existem campanhas de desinformação por todo o lado, incluindo nos principais meios de comunicação e até mesmo de alguns grupos supostamente "anti petróleo". Isto está a criar uma grande confusão na população.

Durante esta palestra a intenção da ASMAA é colocar os factos sobre a mesa e sublinhar a verdadeira situação tal e qual como está. Iremos abordar os seguintes pontos:

1. Os contractos foram cancelados? Se sim, isto significa que estamos protegidos dos furos?

2. Situação actual com a Galp/ENI e questões legais em torno desta questão.

What the Frack?! Talk by ASMAA (Algarve Surf and Marine Activities Association)

Oil and gas exploration is a risk that is confronting the Algarve as well as Alentejo. Currently massive disinformation campaigns are prevalent everywhere, including mainline press and even arising from some "supposedly" anti-oil groups. This is creating massive confusion in the population. 
During this talk, its our intention to put the facts on the table and highlight the real situation as it stands. We will look at:

1. Were contracts canceled? If yes, does it mean that we are safe from drilling?

2. Current situation with Galp/ENI and legal matters surrounding it. The facts!

3. What to expect, and what can still be done?
