Apresentamos a open call da 9ª edição do MIRA Pinhole Photography 2023 promovido pela Galeria MIRA FORUM no Porto. Pretendemos com esta chamada/open call, reunir um conjunto significativo de fotografias realizadas com câmaras pinhole, construídas, adaptadas ou adquiridas, usando qualquer material sensível, analógico ou digital e que, de algum modo, sejam representativas desta técnica.
REGULAMENTO 1 – CONDIÇÕES GERAIS 1.1 - Podem participar todos os autores com mais de 16 anos que usam e fotografam com câmaras pinhole. 1.2 - O tema é livre 1.3 – Os candidatos podem submeter até 3 imagens exclusivamente captadas com câmaras pinhole 1.4 – Aos candidatos devem pertencer integralmente os direitos de autor 1.5 – As imagens devem ser enviadas até ao dia 14 de outubro 1.6 – A submissão de candidaturas é gratuita. 1.7 – Serão selecionadas cerca de 50 fotografias que serão impressas e expostas na galeria MIRA FORUM. Neste caso, será solicitada aos autores a taxa de 35€ (37$ US) para suportar as despesas de impressão, emolduramento, montagem, comunicação e assistência à sala da exposição. 1.8 - Uma projeção com outras fotografias selecionadas que não constem da Shortlist farão parte integrante da exposição. 1.8 – A inauguração da exposição ocorre no dia 4 de novembro pelas 16h00, estando patente até ao dia 30 de dezembro.
2 - ESPECIFICAÇÕES PARA O ENVIO DAS IMAGENS 2.1 – As fotografias devem ser enviadas num único e-mail (máximo 3 fotografias) para mirapinhole@miragalerias.net Só são aceites as fotografias enviadas como anexo no email 2.2 – As imagens devem ter os seguintes requisitos: . Formato: jpeg . Dimensão mínima: 1000 pixéis no lado maior . Tamanho do ficheiro: maiores do que 100kb e menores que 7MB 2.3 – Não são aceites fotografias que incluam assinaturas, marcas de água ou molduras 2.4 –Cada ficheiro deve ser identificado do seguinte modo: . primeiro e último nome, seguido de traço e número da imagem conforme exemplo: JoséSilva_01; JoséSilva_02; JoséSilva_03 . Usar apenas carateres alfanuméricos (não utilizar: .:’”/?}{()[ ]+-=*&^ %$#@!.). 2.4 - Após o envio, cada participante irá receber um e-mail de confirmação da sua submissão. 2.5 – A organização não se responsabiliza por eventuais sobrecargas do sistema informático que serve de plataforma à open-call. 2.6 – As submissões não serão devolvidas. Apenas os trabalhos vencedores selecionados serão guardados para propósitos de divulgação. 2.7 - O MIRA Pinhole Photography não é responsável por qualquer falha e/ou perda da candidatura. 2.8 - Todos os direitos das imagens pertencem aos participantes. Qualquer imagem utilizada pelo MIRA FORUM será identificada com os respetivos créditos autorais. O uso das mesmas pode ser incluído em publicações e/ou divulgação com a respetiva identificação.
3. COMISSÃO ORGANIZADORA 3.1 – A comissão organizadora é composta por 5 elementos: Adelino Marques, António Martins Teixeira, Augusto Lemos, João Lafuente e Rui Apolinário 3.1 – Cabe à comissão organizadora selecionar os trabalhos para a exposição. 3.2 - Da decisão da comissão organizadora não haverá apelo.

MIRA Pinhole Photography 2023
We present the open call for the 9th edition of MIRA Pinhole Photography 2023 promoted by MIRA FORUM gallery in Porto. With this call/open call, we intend to bring together a significant set of photographs taken with pinhole cameras, built, adapted or acquired, using any sensitive material, analog or digital, and which, in some way, are representative of this technique.
TERMS & CONDITIONS 1 – GENERAL CONDITIONS 1.1 - All authors over 16 years old who take photos with pinhole cameras can participate. 1.2 - The theme is free 1.3 – Candidates can submit up to 3 images exclusively captured with pinhole cameras 1.4 – Candidates must fully own the copyright 1.5 – Images must be sent by October 14th 1.6 – Submitting applications is free. 1.7 – Around 50 photographs will be selected and will be printed and displayed in the MIRA FORUM gallery. In this case, authors will be asked to pay a fee of €35 (US$37) to cover the costs of printing, framing, assembly, communication and assistance in the exhibition room. 1.8 - A projection with other selected photographs that are not included in the Shortlist will also be part of the exhibition. 1.8 – The opening of the exhibition takes place on November 4th at 4pm, and will be open until December 30th.
2 - SPECIFICATIONS FOR SENDING IMAGES 2.1 – Photographs must be sent in a single email (maximum 3 photographs) to mirapinhole@miragalerias.net Only photographs sent as attachments to the email are accepted. 2.2 – Images must meet the following requirements: . Format: jpeg . Minimum size: 1000 pixels on the longest side . File size: larger than 100kb and smaller than 7MB 2.3 – Photographs that include signatures, watermarks or frames are not accepted 2.4 – Each file must be identified as follows: . first and last name, followed by dash and image number as per example: JoséSilva_01; JoséSilva_02; JoséSilva_03 . Use only alphanumeric characters (do not use: .:’”/?}{()[ ]+-=*&^ %$#@!.). 2.4 - After submission, each participant will receive an email confirming their submission. 2.5 – The organization is not responsible for any overloads of the computer system that serves as the open-call platform. 2.6 – Submissions will not be returned. Only selected winning works will be saved for publicity purposes. 2.7 - MIRA Pinhole Photography is not responsible for any failure and/or loss of the application. 2.8 - All rights to the images belong to the participants. Any image used by MIRA FORUM will be identified with the respective copyright. Their use may be included in publications and/or dissemination with respective identification.
3. ORGANIZING COMMITTEE 3.1 – The organizing committee is made up of 5 elements: Adelino Marques, António Martins Teixeira, Augusto Lemos, João Lafuente and Rui Apolinário 3.1 – The organizing committee is responsible for selecting the works for the exhibition. 3.2 - There will be no appeal from the decision of the organizing committee.
