O Tincal lab irá juntar-se ao próximo evento de Inaugurações Simultâneas em Miguel Bombarda no dia 23 de Setembro, Sábado, com a apresentação da exposição das duas vencedoras do Prémio Selecção do Público do Desafio Tincal lab 2022 Joalharia e Literatura (votação presencial e online). Contaremos com a presença das autoras, visitem-nos das 16h às 20h!
CARMEN LÓPEZ (ES) Sobre Colheres e Outros Assuntos
O meu sonho é expressar-me através de um elemento muitas vezes invisível: a colher. Um sonho ou ilusão que é produto da imaginação e que é desejado ou perseguido, apesar de ser muito improvável que se torne realidade. Para mim esse sonho tornou-se realidade. Quando comecei a trabalhar com a colher como elemento representativo das minhas peças senti que teria que explicar muitas vezes (aliás perguntam-me muito) o porquê deste objeto. Há dias em que posso contar muito sobre elas, mas há dias em que recorro a um fragmento do poema "The Spoon", de Richard Jones:
"Alguns dias eu acho que na vida Eu não preciso de mais do que uma colher"
KAMILE STANELIENE (LT) Found
Kamile Staneliene formou-se em Arte de Metal e Joalharia na Academia das Artes de Vilnius, Lituânia, em 2017. É membro da Associação Lituana de Artistas. Kamile também trabalha como professora de joalharia na Escola de Artes Aplicadas Kaunas. O trabalho de Kamile é profundo, saído de uma visão muito pessoal do mundo. Nas suas próprias palavras: " A minha tarefa enquanto artista é não torturar ou sufocar o objecto que está a ser criado, mas permitir-lhe que viva". Nos seus trabalhos Kamile usa pedras naturais, muitas vezes simplesmente encontradas na rua ou na natureza. Ela dá-lhes forma e combina-as com metais preciosos.

CARMEN LÓPEZ (ES) Of Spoons and Other Issues
My dream is to express myself using an element that is often invisible: the spoon. A hope or illusion that is the product of the imagination and that is longed for or pursued despite being highly unlikely to come true. For me that dream has come true. When I started working with the spoon as a representative element of my pieces, I felt that I would have to explain many times (in fact, they ask me a lot) the reason for this object. There are days when I can tell a lot about them, but there are other days when I resort to a fragment of the poem “The Spoon", by Richard Jones:

Kamile Staneliene graduated Metal Art & Jewellery in Vilnius Academy of Arts, Lithuania, in 2017. She is a member of Lithuanian Artists' Association. Kamile also works as a jewelry teacher in Kaunas School of Applied Arts. Kamile's work is deep, experienced in a personal worldview. As she says in her own words: “My task as a metal artist is not to torture, suffocate the object being created but to allow it to live”. In her works, Kamile uses natural stones, often found simply on the street or in nature. She shapes them and combines them with precious metals.
