"Out of the Shadow into the Light" Não é comum os designers de joalharia contemporânea serem responsáveis por uma galeria em paralelo ao seu trabalho. O contrário é muito mais comum. Grande parte das galerias de joalharia contemporânea têm como proprietário alguém que também cria joalharia. Estes galeristas organizam frequentemente exposições para outros artistas, por isso estão muitas vezes na sombra. Na exposição "Out of the Shadow into the Light" são agora colocados sob a luz para também eles próprios mostrarem as suas capacidades criativas. Como artistas e não como galeristas. Isto também se aplica a Luis Acosta, que tem trabalhado sobretudo como curador de exposições de joalharia nos anos mais recentes.
