Join us in rural romantic Portugal for a true immersion into the art of Thai Yoga Massage. This is a retreat and a training course in one ~ perfect to go deep, find more presence, connect with your Self and nature, and expand your repertoire and techniques.
About Casa do Limoeiro:
Casa do Limoeiro is a traditional house in a small idyllic village in Alenquer, just 45 minutes north of Lisbon. It's a place where we can reconnect with nature, the body and the spirit. The large garden not only provides a peaceful space to relax and enjoy the clean countryside air, it also provides a lot of the fruit and vegetables we get to eat.
Course overview:
This course is for anyone with prior Thai Yoga Massage training offering the opportunity to expand on your knowledge, your repertoire and techniques. You will learn dynamic moves, how to use your feet, knees and elbows, and some particular techniques on the spine. By the end of the course you will be able to practice more moves in each of the positions, allowing you to work more easily on a wider range of conditions. This course will help you greatly developing more therapeutic application of Thai Yoga Massage.
Casa do Limoeiro set amongst the rolling hills of Alenquer is the perfect setting offering the ideal environment for study, focus, connection and practice.
Friday 24th March - everyone arriving in the afternoon. We will have dinner together and then join for a short session to connect.
From Saturday until Wednesday, days will typically unfold like this:
7-8.15am - Yoga (optional)
8.30am - breakfast
9.30am-1pm - class
1.15pm - lunch
3.30pm-6pm - class
7.30pm - dinner
On Thursday 30th, we will have yoga, breakfast and class. Everyone will leave straight after lunch.
Extras
Half-way through the week, we will have half a day off. Depending on what people want to do and also the weather, we can organise a walk, trip to the coast, visit of a local vineyard amongst other things.
