JOCASTAS, a partir de Rei Édipo de Sófocles e de Antígonas de G.Steiner – entre outres -, é um documentário e um arquivo de objetos, memórias e depoimentos. Registos de 2023 que ficarão para sempre connosco. 
“Quando eu, à bocado, falei da responsabilidade de construir um futuro, no fundo também tem a ver com isto, com a consciência política dum futuro. Trabalharmos no sentido contrário, de permitir que haja esperança, que continue a existir uma esperança no futuro. Portanto, a minha revolução, de facto, é essa responsabilidade. A minha revolução neste momento é exatamente lutar e permitir que quem vier a seguir a mim continue a acreditar, a não desistir, a resistir…” in JOCASTAS 
Com produção e criação SillySeason e a colaboração de João Cristóvão Leitão, este projeto tem ante-estreia prevista para 12 de Dezembro de 2023 e conta com o apoio da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa e dos parceiros Rua das Gaivotas 6 e A Avó Veio Trabalhar.

JOCASTAS, based on Sophocles’ King Oedipus and G. Steiner’s Antigone – among others – is a documentary and an archive of objects, memories and testimonies. Records of 2023 that will remain with us forever. 
“When I spoke earlier about the responsibility of building a future, it also has to do with this, with the political awareness of a future. Working in the opposite direction, of allowing hope to exist, for there to continue to be hope for the future. So my revolution, in fact, is this responsibility. My revolution at the moment is precisely to fight and allow those who follow me to continue to believe, to not give up, to resist…” in JOCASTAS 
Produced and created by SillySeason in collaboration with João Cristóvão Leitão, this project is scheduled for preview in December 12, 2023 and has the support of the Lisbon City Council and partners Rua das Gaivotas 6 and A Avó Veio Trabalhar.
