The deep transformation comes through reconnecting with our personal power by clearing the physical and emotional body of shame, guilt and fear related to our sexuality and authenticity. Spiritual... Sexual ....Shamanic ... each of these three areas carry enormous potential for liberation, freedom, love and joy. But they can also have a shadow and represent misuse of power. A team of skilled Temple Arts Faculty will share, inspire, guide and support you to bring light to the shadows where your power awaits to be reclaimed. You will receive information, guidance and lots of experiential practice around self love, boundaries, consent, emotional release, voice dialogue, neurological reprogramming, shamanic tools, owning one’s desires, the ability to manifest, accessing and speaking from your contra-sexual self (i.e gender opposite), conscious communication, ancient rituals of healing/initiation and powerful sexual clearing/activation processes. This intensive is a well-designed and well-honed program that unfolds within a powerful group process based on safety, trust, unconditional love, intimacy and acceptance of what is arising. By the end of the week, you will feel more in touch with your body, more aliveness and presence, more aware of your patterns and how to change them, more awareness of your emotions and how to hold them, lighter and perhaps more relaxed. YOUR TEACHERS Rex McCann - Lead facilitator A native New Zealander with a global heart, Rex McCann has been leading transformational programmes with men and women for 25 years. Founder of Essentially Men, www.essentiallymen.net the ground breaking mens work of Aotearoa New Zealand, co-founder of the Heart Politics Gatherings and author of Fatherless Sons (Harper Collins) and On Their Own (Finch) he is trained in group work, psychodrama, expressive therapies, co counselling and has a masters in Social Ecology. His experience has been honed from working extensively with groups in all kinds of settings from the wilderness to corporations, prisons to ashrams, and anywhere in the community people are showing up for wisdom. Over his life he has explored diverse mystery traditions, shamanistic practices and spiritual enquiry. Stephanie Phillips - Co facilitating Stephanie initiates groups with Tantric and shamanic practices, pattern reframing and emotional release work. She applies modalities of self awareness including Mindfulness, Gestalt therapy, movement meditation, dance expression, humanistic psychology, NLP, shadow work, conscious sexuality and the healing arts. Her background is Classical / Contemporary Dance, a Bachelor of Education, the Fitness industry, the Health and Wellness sector, executive coaching, and crafting transformational mentoring programs. Her bodywork mastery was honed from private practice in Remedial massage, Polarity therapy, Reiki, de-armouring, and Reflexology. Her Shamanic Dakini emerged after an accident disabled her hand, and her path descended into journeying with shadow. Shachar Caspi - Co facilitating A teacher of sacred sexuality, Daka and guide for esoteric exploration and meditation, Shachar was trained around the world with ISTA. In 2010 he founded the organization "Less is More" which teaches businesses and organizations how to streamline thought processes and increase focus and productivity. Shachar invites you to expand your consciousness and tread the authentic heart's path that exists in each of us. Experience how to connect our Kundalini (sexual energy, Shakti) with the Cosmos (presence, Shiva) in our heart space, releasing old patterns that do not serve us and connecting to our essence that dwells beyond our stories. THE VENUE The training is taking place at Awakeland Portugal - a beautiful retreat place in the midst of stunning nature in between the Monchique mountains and the Atlantic at the sun-drenched Algarve coast. Awakeland is a place dedicated to an awakening of the soul into the nature of being, where we live in communion with the land that supports and nourishes us. The land is being taken care of by earth guardians integrating permaculture, biodynamic agriculture and eco water systems that are supporting the transcendent vibration of the earth. People from all over the planet are coming to Awakeland to meditate with the open nature. Our group room is a Dome which will allow us to stay connected to the nature while working indoors. Working inside a sacred geometry structure will support the portal of transformation of the training. You can also help and learn in our permaculture gardens, enjoy a swim in one of our four lakes or relax in our special designed chill spots all over the area. If you want you can extend your stay to enjoy the marvelous Algarve nature, go hiking in the Monchique mountains, relax at one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, experience the sights and cultural life of the old cities of the Algarve or surf in fabulous conditions on Portugal’s famed west coast a short drive away.
