A noite de cinema esloveno faz parte das noites interculturais e exibições de filmes dentro do projeto Tutti Frutti. O filme que vamos mostrar demonstra a situação dos jovens adultos nascidos nos anos 80 na Eslovénia: as suas lutas, os seus medos e dúvidas, mas também a atitude cómica em relação à realidade eslovena da geração nascida nos anos 80. 

O título é simples - Izlet, que significa "A Viagem" e conta uma história sobre três melhores amigos que embarcam numa viagem como nos tempos da escola, mas não são mais crianças - um deles parte em breve para uma missão de guerra no Médio Oriente, o outro é gay e sem qualquer propósito na vida e a última esconde algo que vai muito para além dos problemas diários da juventude. Há segredos velhos e segredos novos que não se partilham. Uma história da geração desiludida e enfurecida contada desde o ponto de vista do escritor e realizador esloveno Nejc Gazvoda, que dá voz à sua geração. 

O filme tem 81 minutos de duração e vamos mostrá-lo com legendas em inglês.

The Slovenian movie night makes part of the Tutti Frutti intercultural nights and movie screenings. The movie we are going to show depicts the situation of the young adults born in 80s in Slovenia: their struggles, fears and doubts, but also the humourous attitude towards the Slovenian reality of generation born in 80s. 

The title is simple - Izlet which means "The Trip" and tells a story about three best friends who embark on a road trip like they did in high school, but they are not kids anymore − one of them is going to a war mission in Middle East, the other is gay and without any purpose in life and the girl hides something that is far beyond everyday youth problems. There are old and new secrets left unsaid. A story of the disappointed and enraged generation told from a viewpoint of Slovenian writer and a director, Nejc Gazvoda, who gives the voice to his generation.

The movie is 81 minutes long and we are going to show it with the English subtitles.
