Yellow Blue // Exposição de Posters
Trabalhos e livros ilustrados pela Pictoric Illustrators Club irão estar em exibição, pela primeira vez em Portugal, na RAIZVANGUARDA-Associação Cultural. Estas obras representam diferentes olhares sobre atrações turísticas e culturais, fenómenos sociais e eventos históricos, familiares aos ucranianos mas desconhecidos pelo resto do mundo. Esta nova série de posters e postais, Yellow Blue, continuará a ser desenvolvida num futuro próximo.

O que é a PICTORIC?

Pictoric Illustrators Club é uma comunidade de artistas, ilustradores e designers gráficos da Ucrânia, únicos pelo seu estilo, em consonância com as últimas tendências das artes gráficas. A Pictoric desenvolve projetos internacionais, envolvendo artistas de diferentes países e promovendo a ilustração contemporânea de alta qualidade na Ucrânia e no estrangeiro. Além da ilustração, os membros deste coletivo desenvolvem trabalho nas artes visuais, como street art ou banda-desenhada.

Todos os anos, a Pictoric Ilustrators Club organiza um programa de ilustração no Festival Internacional Book Arsenal. Esta exposição inclui atividades educacionais, workshops e palestras de ilustradores ucranianos e europeus.

A Pictoric representa a ilustração moderna da Ucrânia em feiras do livro internacionais, como a Tbilisi Book Days, na Geórgia, a Plaster International Poster, o Typography Design Festival, na Polónia, ou a Feira do Livro de Frankfurt, na Alemanha.

ABOUT EXHIBITION

Yellow Blue // Ukrainian Posters Exhibitions
Works of Ukrainian artists from Pictoric Illustrators Club and books illustrated by them to be presented for the first time in Portugal at the RAIZVANGUARDA - Associação Cultural. They represent different views on cultural and touristic attractions, social phenomena and historical events that are so familiar to Ukrainians but unknown to foreigners. Ukrainian phenomena depicted in a new series of posters and postcards Yellow Blue is going to be expanded in the nearest future.

WHAT IS PICTORIC?

Pictoric Illustrators Club is a community of young Ukrainian illustrators, artists and graphic designers, each distinguished by their own unique style in line with the latest trends of graphic arts. They create international projects involving talented artists from different countries to promote high-quality modern illustration in Ukraine and abroad. In addition to illustrations and graphics, the illustrators make projects evolving into visual media: street art and special editions, e.g. comic books. 

Every year the Illustrators Club Pictoric organizes an illustration program at the International Festival Book Arsenal. This extensive exhibition also includes educational events, workshops and lectures by Ukrainian and European illustrators. 

Pictoric represents modern Ukrainian illustration at the international book fairs, such as Tbilisi Book Days, Plaster International Poster and Typography Design Festival in Torun, Poland and Frankfurt Book Fair, etc.
