Bachelard, "Land and the reveries of repose" Kunsthalle Lissabon presents Habitantes de habitantes [Inhabitants of Inhabitants], Oporto-based duo Mariana Caló e Francisco Queimadela most recent project, on view from October 12 to December 17, 2016. Mariana Caló and Francisco started their collaboration in 2010 with the project Gradations of Time over a Plane, an ongoing series on non-linear chapters, in which the duo has been developing a reflection on the notion of Time and its relation to human subjectivity. The practice of Caló and Queimadela has explored several media and disciplines, namely moving image, both film and video, drawing and painting. The duo were artists in residence at Gasworks, London in 2012. They won the BES Revelação award in 2012, were shortlisted for the 10th edition of EDP New Artist Prize in 2012 and won Schermo dell'arte Film Festival's International Prize in 2013. Bachelard, "A Terra e os devaneios do repouso" A Kunsthalle Lissabon apresenta Habitantes de habitantes, o mais recente projeto da dupla portuense Mariana Caló e Francisco Queimadela, patente de 12 de outubro a 17 de dezembro de 2016. Mariana Caló e Francisco iniciaram a sua colaboração em 2010 com o projeto Gradações de Tempo sobre um Plano, ainda em curso, e que toma a forma de uma série de capítulos não sequenciais no qual têm vindo a desenvolver uma reflexão sobre a noção de Tempo e a sua relação com a subjetividade humana. A prática artística da dupla recorre a vários media e disciplinas, das quais se destacam a imagem em movimento, sob a forma de video e filme, o desenho e a pintura. Foram distinguidos com o prémio BES Revelação em 2012, finalistas da 10ª edição do prémio Edp Novos Artistas em 2013 e vencedores do prémio internacional Schermo dell'arte Film Festival em 2013.
