QUEER PORTO 1 - Bob Mizer Installation

The team of Queer Lisbon brings to Porto the first edition of a new film festival: Queer Porto - International Queer Film Festival. Presenting some of the most remarkable films, directors and emerging tendencies of queer culture, this festival has a multidisciplinary character, occupying several spaces around the city, confronting different artistic languages in articulation with film. Along with Teatro Municipal Rivoli, Mala Voadora and Maus Habitos, the Wrong Weather Gallery will be one of the epicentres of the festival.

Bob Mizer, the emblematic american photographer, will be celebrated with a video-installation at the Wrong Weather Gallery, where The Golden Age of the American Male and Meet The Bob Mizer Foundation, minidocumentary by Devin Baker, will be showcased. The installation can be visited from 7 until 10th of October between 10.30 am and 7.30 pm.
