II | Ritmos do Mediterrâneo: Murat Coskun O mundo rítmico do Mediterrâneo está cheio de contrastes e sobreposições. Numa viagem ficcional ao mundo dos “framedrums”/pandeiros, combinamos alguns ritmos do Mediterrâneo oriental (zona cultural greco-turca e árabe) com o fascinante mundo dos tambores e ritmos do Magrebe. Oficina que recorre ao auxílio de passos de dança e melodias vocais.

𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘀̧𝗸𝘂𝗻 (Alemanha / Tamburi Mundi)
[PT] Com base nos seus estudos em estudos orientais e etnologia musical, Murat Coşkun faz a mediação entre os mundos musicais do Oriente e do Ocidente, com um vasto repertório musical de diferentes culturas e estilos musicais. Desde 2015, dirige o departamento de percussão na área das músicas do mundo, na Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, em Mannheim, onde também ensina bateria de quadros como tema principal. Desde janeiro de 2018 dirige o curso de framedrums / pandeiros que criou na Tamburi Mundi Frame Drum Academy. Como professor procurado de percussão oriental e framedrums, ensinou o seu próprio método de ensino em muitas universidades e instituições internacionais, incluindo Suíça, Espanha, Áustria, Itália, Rússia, Turquia, Irão, EUA, Taiwan, Japão). Desenvolveu as suas próprias técnicas de tocar e esteve também envolvido no desenvolvimento de novos "framedrums" Schlagwerk Percussion, Anklang Musikwelt, Jacek Drums e Hedwitschak Drums, entre outros. É o fundador e diretor artístico do festival mais importante do mundo de "framedrum" / pandeiros, Tamburi Mundi em Friburgo. Em 2008, organizou o primeiro festival internacional de percussão na história do Irão. Foi diretor artístico em Omã na Royal Opera House Muscat e no Festspielhaus St. Pölten, entre outros. Tem vindo a produzir e a acolher o Tamburi Monday-Frame Drum Channel desde 2021. Desde 2009 é presidente do Tamburi Mundi Freiburg e.V. Murat Coşkun é membro do PC desde 1998.
[EN] Based on his studies in oriental studies and music ethnology, the internationally renowned percussionist Murat Coşkun mediates between the musical worlds of the Orient and Occident, draws from a large musical repertoire of different cultures and is involved in many styles such as world music, classical music, early music, jazz and new music. Since 2015, Murat Coşkun has headed the world percussion department of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim, where he also teaches frame drums as a main subject. Since January 2018 he has been leading the 4-year frame drum course he created at the Tamburi Mundi Frame Drum Academy. He has been leading the "Online Frame Drum Academy" since 2021. As a sought-after lecturer for oriental percussion and frame drums, he taught his own teaching method in many international universities and institutions including Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Iran, USA, Taiwan, Japan). He is the author of various frame drum instruction videos (e.g. DVD Finger Dance and online school "My world of Frame Drums"). He developed his own playing techniques and was also involved in developing new frame drums at Schlagwerk Percussion, Anklang Musikwelt, Jacek Drums and Hedwitschak Drums, among others. His concert activities have taken him through all of Western and Eastern Europe, to Mongolia, USA, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Korea, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Israel. Murat Coşkun is the founder and artistic director of the world's most important festival for frame drums and percussion Tamburi Mundi in Freiburg. In 2008 he organized the first international percussion festival in the history of Iran. He was engaged as artistic director in Oman at the Royal Opera House Muscat and at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten, among others, where he also worked as "Artist in Residence" in 2012. He has been producing and hosting the Tamburi Monday-Frame Drum Channel since 2021. Since 2009 he has been chairman of the Tamburi Mundi Freiburg e.V. Murat Coşkun has been a PC member since 1998.
