INAUGURAÇÃO "See Through" Miguel Teodoro See Through reflete sobre a realidade transitória e complexa da paisagem urbana. Estabelece-se como uma exploração sobre dispositivos efémeros que interrompem a visão e subvertem a natureza fluída e contínua do espaço. A fragilidade da condição intermitente das fronteiras na cidade revela a potên- cia poética de uma abordagem crítica às discrepantes temporalidades e matérias inerentes à regulação da cidade. Olhar torna-se extensão da presença do próprio corpo. A transparência da arquitetura denuncia dobras e desgaste nas películas instáveis e perecíveis que se colocam entre o corpo de quem olha, o seu reflexo e o objeto olhado. São superfícies de transferência e comunicação entre realidades distintas. A prática artística de Miguel Teodoro explora a relação entre a ambiguidade da paisagem, as possibilidades latentes no território e a poética do quotidiano, refletindo sobre as implicações políticas e sociais do espaço. - Miguel Teodoro (1997, Viana do Castelo, Portugal) É licenciado em Artes Plásticas pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universi- dade do Porto (2019), tendo estudado também na Akademie der Bildenden Künste em Viena (2018/19). Desenvolve uma prática artística que intersecta várias disciplinas, centrando o seu pensamento nas relações entre corpo, território e matéria. Trabalha principalmente com escultura, instalação, desen- ho, gravura e fotografia. Participa frequentemente em exposições coletivas, projetos coletivos, publicações, residências artísticas e projetos de investigação em Cabo Verde e no Brasil. [ENG] OPENING See Through reflects about the transitory and complex reality of urban landscape. It establishes itself as an exploration about ephemeral devices that interrupts the vision and subverts the space fluid and continuous nature. The fragility of the intermittent condition of the borders of the city reveals the poetic potentiality of a critical approach to the discrepant temporalities and inherent matters to the regulation of the city. To see becomes an extension of the presence of the body itself. The transparence of the architecture exposes folds and abrasion on the unstable and perishable layers that position themselves between the body of who is looking, their reflex and the gazed object. These are transfer and communication surfaces between distinct realities. Miguel Teodoro artistic practice explores the relationship between the ambiguity of landscape, the latent possibilities of territory and the everyday poetics, reflecting about political and social implications of space. - Miguel Teodoro (1997, Viana do Castelo, Portugal) Has a bachelor degree in Fine Arts by the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Univer- sidade do Porto (2019), and had also studied at Akademie der Bildenden Künste em Viena (2018/19). He Works mainly with sculpture, installation, drawing, engraving and photography. Miguel Teodoro participates frequently in collective shows and projects, publications, artistic residencies and research projects in Cabo Verde and Brazil.
