From Artificial Intelligence to Authentic Expression: working with AI art using analog techniques.
Learn how to work with AI generated art using today’s popular tools. In this workshop you will make your own work of art by creating an AI generated image and applying that to canvas using a photo transfer method done with acrylic paints.
Lorny Sosa Pfeifer has produced multiple works during her residency at Prisma investigating her Latin American heritage through the lens of AI.
Her process is based on tediously filtering out the stereotypes and polished aesthetic of popular AI tools to arrive at a place of authenticity.
Join us for the opening of her showcase on Sunday December 1st, where she will present us with insights on her methods and considerations in working with machine learning in relation to delicate topics such as culture, identity and profiling.
