Thursday, 28th of November, Prisma invites Dan Iro & Imberbe for ambient rhythms 🪐 @robert.dan.iro Dan Iro is the solo electronic music project of Daniel Taveira, who, using synthesizers, drum machines, and field recordings, explores the ambient/drone and IDM genres. In this performance, the focus is on the manipulation of samples and loops, combined with synthesized melodies, spoken word, and occasional beats, drawing inspiration from Tim Hecker, Loscil, and the Delia Derbyshire Appreciation Society. @imberbe___ Imberbe is an artist with a “Ghostly” take on electronic music, inspired by a distorted vision of life and by dreaming, Imberbe creates a muted sound world taking cues from the atmospheric side of techno and ambient music. His debut release “Fantasmas” released on March 2023 showcases this introspective, slow and blurry traits featuring dragged synth riffs, organic percussions, eerie melodies, spectral textures and intimate field recordings. //PT// Dan Iro é o projeto a solo de música eletrónica de Daniel Taveira que, com recurso a sintetizadores, caixas de ritmos e field recordings insere-se no género musical ambient/drone e IDM. Neste concerto, a incidência é na manipulação de samples e loops, juntamente com melodias sintetizadas, spoken word e beats pontuais, bebendo influências de Tim Hecker, Loscil e Delia Derbyshire Appreciation Society. Imberbe é um artista com uma abordagem “fantasmagórica” à música eletrônica. Inspirado por uma visão distorcida da vida e pelos sonhos, Imberbe cria um mundo sonoro abafado, influenciado pelo lado atmosférico do techno e da música ambient.
