[PT] O mycelium é um impressionante organismo vivo que pode crescer de diferentes formas. É o corpo vegetativo dos fungos: uma massa de filamentos ramificados que espalha-se por todo o substrato nutriente.
Na Critical Concrete temos desenvolvido principalmente painéis isolantes e agora gostávamos de compartilhar a nossa pesquisa convosco de uma maneira simples e fascinante!
Já existem muitas pessoas que criam coisas extraordinárias a partir dele: além dos painéis isolantes, móveis, objetos internos, sapatos e muito mais!

Vamos criar vasos bonitos, tigelas para a fruta ou qualquer coisa que possam imaginar!
Todos os materiais nescesarios serão fornecidos por nós, exceto os moldes nos quais o objeto irá crescer!

O workshop começará com uma introdução teórica, seguida de uma apresentação da nossa pesquisa até agora. Em seguida, criaremos objetos com o mycelium a partir do zero.

[ENG] Mycelium is a beautiful living structure which can grow in any different shape. So far we were developing mostly insulation panels with it, and we want to share our research with you in an easier and more charming way.
There is already a bunch of people creating amazing things out of it. From insulation, furniture, interior items to shoes, etc.

Together we will create beautiful plant pots, bowls, etc.
We provide all of the materials, except the container used as a mould which you will use to grow your future object in! Get in touch with us to know if the mould you’re thinking of will work.
The workshop will start with a theoretical introduction, followed by a presentation of our research so far.. After that we will make the mycelium objects from scratch.
