Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement where dance expands, the spirit becomes active, limitations dissolve, annoyance disappears, creativity explodes, beauty flows, communities get together, a ritual is reinvented, harmony arises. The beat intensifies as a carpet of rhythms and unites us as individuals within a large family.
During the workshop we will create a safe space where we can intensify the dance followed by the process of liberation of suppressed emotions, allowing natural joy to come to the surface. By letting ourself go with the therapeutic power of dance and music we can better experience what we need at the present moment. Be prepared to have intense emotions! Let us connect with each other, start with a warm-up exercise and proceed to emotionally free dance, guided by consciously and specifically selected music.
