ESN Covilhã - Chestnuts Route

As a tradition, every year there is a celebration of the event that we call “Magusto”.
In this event, people eat chestnuts and drink “Jeropiga” (a traditional drink) around a big fire. 
We invite you to join us in the Chestnut Route, were we will make a nice walk exploring all the beautifull views and fresh air of the mountain of Alcongosta (Fundão, Covilhã). It is an amazing experience that all of your previous Erasmus collegues have experienced before. 
Then we will join in a nice lunch, and party with the famous Jeropiga and the the delicious chestnuts through the rest of the day

7:15 - Meeting point @City Centre
7:30 - Departure > Covilhã > Alcongosta
8:15 - Breakfast and reunion of the participants
9:00 - Beginning of the activity (A track walk in the mountain for the chestnut Route – difficulty level medium/low)
13:00 - Lunch (included)
14:30 - Beggining of the “Magusto” 
18:00 - End of the activity
18:30 - Departure > Alcongosta > Covilhã

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Bring confortable shoes and clothes
- There are wild animals in those woods. Please avoid strong noises.
- Bring warm clothes in case of cold.
- BRING YOUR CAMERA AND LOTS OF FUN!

Como é tradição, todos os anos é coemorado o “Magusto” .
Neste evento festeja-se comendo castanhas quentinhas e bebendo a tradicional bebida “Jeropiga” à volta de uma grande fogueira!
Convidamos-te a juntares-te a nós para a “Rota dos castanheiros”, onde é feita uma caminhada pelas paisagens maravilhosas da montanha de Alcongosta ( Fundão, Covilhã).
É uma experiência inesquecível que os vossos antigos colegas Erasmus já tiveram nos anos passados.
Depois iremos almoçar todos, e finalmente festejar com as famosas castanhas e Jeropiga pelo resto do dia.

- Trazer roupa e calçado confortável.
- Durante o percurso da floresta, existem animais selvagens, devemos manter distância e não incomodar os mesmos.
