During the last decade, the disciplinary field of illustration observed important alterations, promoted not only by technological developments but in particular the emergence of design research. It is in this context that this open, public conversation will debate the expanded field of illustration, intersecting multiple disciplines and decentralising the way of seeing and making illustration. A conversation between Chloë King (Cook the Books), Julio Dolbeth & Rui Vitorino Santos (Galeria Dama Aflita), Inês Azevedo Silva (Illustopia), Karen Lacroix (Uncanny Editions), Alexandra Rafael, and Matilde Seabra (talkie-walkie). This public talk is organised by the Illustration School EU, in collaboration with UPTEC. It will be conducted in English.
