PortoBay Flower Festival | Madeira

In the lobbies of the hotels of the PortoBay Group on Madeira island, and continuing our homage to the well - known flowers of the island, appear the traditional floral arrangements.

The decorations are colourful and prepared from traditional Madeira flowers. Petals, leaves and wild flowers are mixed in various arrangements, with traditional regional elements, with wood stands and even with animals.

These carpets and flower arrangements are the result of the internal work of a team of PortoBay employees,  whom have been admired and recognised enthusiastically, by guests who take pictures as souvenirs.

The guests of PortoBay hotels will have the opportunity to participate in the making of the floral carpets, do a guided visit to the Vila Porto Mare garden, as well as, watch a show where the troupes that take part Flower Festival Parade, present their outfits.

This year, in addition to activities to be held at the hotels, the PortoBay Group will be sponsoring the floral carpet of the Refúgio da Freira association, which will be placed at the central space in front of the Cathedral of Funchal.
