Memo Ömür is a Photographer/ Director from Türkiye. He obtained his bachelor's degree in plastic arts at the University of Sorbonne Paris while studying Jazz at CIM/INFIMM and photography at CE3P. He spent the first part of his career as a photojournalist and later focused on directing music videos and experimenting with videography.
In an attempt to reach the depths of the soul through music and moving images, Ömür’s work mainly focuses on introspection: the expression of the ineffable. While one aspect of his work is highly personal, the collaborations with artists from different disciplines are a way to depict the collective human experience. Simultaneously evolving around momentum and spontaneity, he developed a system refusing to accept any notion of predetermined idea in favor of improvisation. 
He now lives and works in Lisbon.
