Sessão musical e cultural «Sons do Mundo - Sounds of the World»

Por ocasião do Dia da Cultura e das comunidades, que Cabo Verde celebra a 18 de outubro, o CCCV – Centro Cultural de Cabo Verde, a Embaixada de Cabo Verde em Portugal, o Advantage Austria Portugal e a Embaixada da Áustria em Portugal apresentam a Sessão musical e cultural “Sons do mundo - Sounds of the World”, para assinalar a data e as excelentes relações existentes entre os dois países.  
A cultura é o laço que une os povos e, embora existam diferenças na maneira como cada comunidade se manifesta culturalmente, a música tem a capacidade de unificar a linguagem cultural. Através da música os artistas expressam o seu sentir e transmitem-no aos demais com sonoridades que nos transportam para lugares tão distantes como Cabo Verde e Áustria. Juntar artistas de Cabo Verde e da Áustria no mesmo espaço e momento é dar corpo a duas culturas diferentes, mas iguais na forma de transmitir alegria. 

 

 
On the occasion of the Day of Culture and Communities, which Cape Verde celebrates on 18 October, the CCCV - Cultural Centre of Cape Verde, the Embassy of Cape Verde in Portugal and the Austrian Embassy in Portugal – Commercial Section / ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA present the musical and cultural session "Sounds of the World", to mark the date and the excellent relations between the two countries. 
Culture is the bond that unites peoples and, although there are differences in the way each community expresses itself culturally, music has the ability to unify the cultural language. Through music, artists express their feelings and transmit them to others with sounds that transport us to places as far apart as Cape Verde and Austria. To bring together artists from Cape Verde and Austria in the same space  
and at the same time is to embody two different cultures, but equal in the way they transmit joy.
