Menschen rund um den Globus haben in den letzten Monaten durch die Corona-Pandemie gelitten. Doch COVID-19 ist nicht die einzige Krise, mit der wir konfrontiert sind. Die Klimakrise und politische Krisen kommen für viele noch hinzu. Wie beeinflussen diese Krisen unseren Blick auf die Zukunft? Führen sie dazu, dass Menschen resignieren oder dazu, dass sie aktiv werden? Mithilfe welcher Strategien bleiben Communities widerstandsfähig und stärken ihren Zusammenhalt?
Aktivist*innen und Künstler*innen aus Hong Kong, Belarus, Libanon, Venezuela und weiteren Ländern haben ihre Perspektiven und Einblicke in Form einer kleinen Textreihe mit uns geteilt.
Am 27. November um 13:00 Uhr (MEZ) sprechen wir mit Abir Ghattas (Hammam Radio, Deutschland), Joel Kwong and Eric Sui (Be Water, Hong Kong), und Olia Sosnovskaya (Autorin & Künstlerin, Belarus) über ihre Erfahrungen der letzten Monate, über ihre Visionen für die Zukunft und darüber, wie das Neue in die Welt kommt.

People around the globe have suffered from the corona pandemic in recent months. But COVID-19 is not the only crisis we are facing. The climate crisis and political crises add to this for many. How do these crises affect our view of the future? Do they make people resign themselves or do they take action? What strategies do communities use to stay resilient and strengthen their cohesion?
Activists and artists from Hong Kong, Belarus, Lebanon, Venezuela and other countries shared their perspectives and insights with us in a small series of texts.
On 27th November at 1pm (CET) we will talk to Abir Ghattas (Hammam Radio, Germany), Joel Kwong and Eric Sui (Be Water, Hong Kong), and Olia Sosnovskaya (writer & artist, Belarus) about their experiences of the last months, about their visions for the future and about how the New comes into the world.
