[scroll down for the English version] WORKSHOP DE GRAVURA ÁGUA TINTA DE AÇÚCAR com Marija Toskovic A 28 e 29 de Novembro, das 8h00 às 12h00, a artista da Contraprova Marija Toskovic irá orientar o Workshop de Gravura em metal na técnica de água tinta de açúcar. O uso de máscara é obrigatório. Este workshop, aberto ao público em geral, introduz o participante à técnica calcográfica da água-tinta de açúcar sobre metal. Tem como objetivo dar um conhecimento base da técnica, assim como dos materiais e instrumentos necessários para o seu procedimento. Será um workshop onde a oportunidade de experimentação e realização de projectos artísticos de pequeno formato serão uma realidade, e onde o participante poderá descobrir e explorar as suas potencialidades expressivas através da linguagem própria da água-tinta de açúcar. Licenciou-se em Artes Plásticas/ Pintura pela Universidade de Évora, Portugal. É membro da Associação dos Gravadores portugueses. É co-fundadora do atelier Contraprova em Lisboa. É membro da Associação dos Artistas Plásticos da Sérvia. Vive e trabalha em Lisboa e Belgrado, Sérvia. Desenvolve o seu trabalho em gravura e desenho. Expõe regularmente e conta com dezenas de exposições individuais e participações em exposições coletivas, entre elas o Centro da Arte Contemporânea de Montenegro. As suas obras fazem parte de coleções públicas e privadas em Portugal, na Sérvia, Montenegro, Macedónia, Marrocos, Venezuela, EUA. O seu trabalho pesquisa o corpo na sua qualidade de auto-paisagem abstrata e redefine-a como uma projeção externa de identidade, a identificação interna e também a visão subjetiva da percepção de si mesmo. O foco do seu trabalho está na autopercepção, na autoidentificação, no erotismo mas também nas várias dimensões de expressão corporal: no emocional, na questão racial, na fé, no individual e no comunitário, absoluto e dual, local e global, subjetivo e objetivo. The use of mask is mandatory. This workshop, open to the general public, introduces the participant to the sugar lift aquatint technique on metal. It aims to give a basic knowledge of the technique, as well as the materials and instruments necessary for its procedure. It will be a workshop where the opportunity to experiment and carry out small format artistic projects will be a reality, and where the participant will be able to discover and explore its expressive potentialities through the language of the sugar lift aquatint technique. Graduated in Fine Arts / Painting at the University of Évora, Portugal. Member of the Portuguese Recorders Association. Co-founder of Contraprova atelier in Lisbon. Member of the Association of Plastic Artists of Serbia. Lives and works in Lisbon and Belgrade, Serbia. Develops her work in printmaking and drawing. Regularly exhibits and has dozens of individual exhibitions and participations in collective exhibitions, including the Center for Contemporary Art of Montenegro. Her works are part of public and private collections in Portugal, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Morocco, Venezuela, USA. Her work investigates the body in its quality as an abstract self-landscape and redefines it as an external projection of identity, internal identification and also the subjective view of self-perception. The focus of her work is on self-perception, self-identification, eroticism but also on the various dimensions of body expression: emotional, racial, faith, individual and community, absolute and dual, local and global, subjective and objective.
