Read in English below ____________________________________________________________________________ A Galeria Municipal João Bailote acolhe de 1 a 26 de junho uma exposição de Kateryna Ilchuk, intitulada “Paisagens Urbanas”. Natural da Ucrânia, Kateryna Ilchuk chegou a Portugal para fazer um curso de mestrado em economia de turismo, continuando até agora a viver em Portugal. Além do trabalho na área da investigação científica também pinta em acrílico, óleo e aquarela, sob a estética realista. Kateryna é apaixonada por arte desde a infância, mas teve a sua primeira exposição apenas quando veio para Portugal. Desde então, tem participado em diversas exposições individuais e coletivas. Alguns dos seus trabalhos estão em coleções particulares, não só em Portugal, como no Reino Unido, Canadá, Alemanha, Bélgica e Holanda. Nesta exposição é possível observar uma coleção original, que presta homenagem ao património arquitetónico de Portugal e do Algarve, em particular. A exposição pode ser visitada de segunda a sexta feira (menos aos feriados), entre as 09h30 e as 12h30 e entre as 13h30 e as 17h30. Atendendo às medidas de proteção devido à Covid-19, foram entretanto estipuladas novas regras de frequência das Galerias Municipais de Albufeira, nomeadamente: aguardar pela entrada, mediante indicação do funcionário da galeria, usar máscara própria e higienizar as mãos à entrada e respeitar o distanciamento social de dois metros, na medida em que só é permitida a permanência de duas pessoas em simultâneo, no máximo, durante 30 minutos. ____________________________________________________________________________ Galeria Municipal de Albufeira João Bailote hosts an exhibition by Kateryna Ilchuk from 1st to 26th of June. Born in Ukraine, Kateryna Ilchuk arrived in Portugal to take a master's degree, continuing to live in Portugal until now. In addition to work in the field of scientific research, she also paints in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, under realistic aesthetics. Kateryna has been passionate about art since childhood but had her first exhibition only when she came to Portugal. Since then, she has participated in several individual and group exhibitions. Some of her works are in private collections, not only in Portugal but also in the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In this exhibition, it is possible to observe and acquire an original collection, which pays honor to the architectural heritage of Portugal and the Algarve, in particular. The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday (except public holidays), between 9:30 and 12:30 and between 13:30 and 17:30. Given the protective measures due to Covid-19, new rules for the frequency at the galleries have now been laid down, namely: wait for the entrance, as indicated by the gallery's employee, wear own mask, clean hands at the entrance and respect the distance of two meters, as only two people are allowed to stay at the same time for a maximum of 30 minutes.
