União Freguesias de Cedofeita St. Ildefonso Sé Miragaia S. Nicolau Vitória
Rua Gonçalo Cristóvão, 187 - Porto Ver website
Hello, all! At first glance, this central area of the city between Lapa and Marquês seems quite straightforward, a mesh of broad street approaches that link the Porto to the north and which also tries to span it crosswise. Nevertheless, there is another layer, a hidden grid of earlier times. This is the aspect that has drawn our attention and which we would like to share with you, the stories behind the stones. We want to to look how Porto sprawled out of its original plan, found new centralities were found and founded, how the landscape was rolled over and new thoroughfares cut open, always keeping in mind the local communities in between them seem to constantly find themselves in an ebb/flow movement, as an area of circulation is always a place of transformation. Will you join us? Just tell us you feel like participating and we'll give you the precise location as there's a limited number of places, in order to make it comfortable for everybody and of course we will never turn anyone away.
