Após um interregno de 4 anos, o Dub Club está de regresso à cidade dos estudantes. 10 anos depois da 1a sessão no mítico Via Latina, onde durante 3 anos o Dub Club fundou residência, e após 3 anos a partilhar a cabine de som do extinto Pop Fresh, marca agora presença no espaço de intervenção cultural Aqui Base Tango. Direccionado para as sonoridades do dub (a vertente electrónica do reggae jamaicano) desde a sua origem na Jamaica nos anos 60/70, até à internacionalização deste género na ultima década, destacando as tendências mais actuais do dubstep e passando pelo jungle dos anos 90, na Sexta-Feira 13 de Março as frequências dos graves & sub-graves vão ser a tónica dominante nesta noite Conimbricense. Com início as 23h59 e prolongando-se até para lá das 6 da manhã, a selecção musical vai estar a cargo de Dubstef & Bob Figurante na manipulação dos vinílicos, sendo a entrada livre. Imperdível para todos amantes do dub, jungle e bass music, curiosos e interessados! (...) After a 4-year break, the Dub Club is back in the student city. 10 years after the 1st session in the mythical Via Latina, where for 3 years Dub Club founded a residence, and after 3 years sharing the extinct Pop Fresh sound booth, it is now present in the cultural intervention space Aqui Base Tango. Directed to the sounds of dub (the electronic version of Jamaican reggae) since its origin in Jamaica in the 60s / 70s, until its internationalization genre in the last decade, highlighting the most current trends in dubstep and going through the jungle of the 90s, on Friday the 13th of March the frequencies of the bass & sub-bass will be the dominant keynote on this night in Coimbra. Starting at 11:59 pm and extending beyond 6 am, the musical selection will be in charge of Dubstef & Bob Figurante in the vinyl handling, with free entry. A must for all dub, jungle and bass music lovers, curious and interested!
