Ao mergulhar no som, surgiu um ambiente visual que deu origem ao nome do álbum, com as suas imagens em movimento lento a emergir do universo de sons pós-industriais e dub techno. Em FUMO, Sandra convoca fantasmas do passado revelados por camadas de imagens de arquivo, conduzindo-nos das ruas das cidades de Ruhr, a maior região industrial da Europa, através de fábricas, eclipses e evocações de tempestades. Ghent seduz pela poesia deste trabalho audiovisual, evocando espectros que se dissipam no fumo. Diving in their sound she created the visual ambient that named the album, her slow moving images emerge from the universe of original sounds revivaling in post-industrial and dub techno. In FUMO, Sandra summons ghosts of the past revealed in layers of archive images, conducting us from the streets of cities in Ruhr the biggest industrial region in Europe, trough factories, eclipses and the conjuring of tempests. Ghent seduces by the poetry of this audio-visual work, evoking spectres that fade in to smoke.
