André “Andy” Oliveira Aos dezoito anos de idade, pegou num violino pela primeira vez e a paixão foi tal que nunca mais o largou. Embarcou assim numa viagem de descoberta musical que continua nos dias de hoje, passando por paisagens da Escandinávia, das nações celtas e dos Balcãs. Dinamiza eventos folk desde oficinas e jam-sessions ao evento internacional Folk Marathon. É membro dos projectos de música tradicional e de expressão popular portuguesa Arco da Beilha e Bugalhos. Elina Stolde Etnomusicóloga de formação, nascida na Letónia, muda-se do Báltico para Portugal para estudar as origens do fado vadio na cidade do Porto. Descobrindo a riqueza da música tradicional e popular portuguesa, particularmente dos cantares ligados ao trabalho e ao papel social da mulher, acaba por criar raízes na música e na terra. Integra o trio feminino de canto e percussão tradicional Tresmoças. Greta Wardega Nascida em Cracóvia, recolhe nas suas viagens um vasto repertório rítmico e cantado, desde a sua Polónia natal a várias regiões dos Balcãs, repertório esse maioritariamente baseado em compassos ímpares ou irregulares, característicos das regiões que percorreu. É integrante da dupla de DJ’s Balskandal, um projecto baseado no Porto com o objectivo de educação musical e cultural dos Balcãs junto da comunidade local. Özüm Azilkasanci Ak Desde cedo que, cantando, explora o potencial daquele que é o instrumento musical primordial. A sua voz transmite emoções e sensações em idiomas e dialectos ainda existentes...ou já não. A técnica vocal dos cantares tradicionais da sua Turquia está-lhe no sangue e, ao longo dos anos, tem vindo a estender o seu repertório a temas de várias regiões dispersas um pouco por todo o mundo.
