A partir do contexto curatorial da Porto Design Biennale, Joannette van der Veer (“design activist catalyst” na Onomatopee) fará uma introdução à produção 'Post Millennium' da galeria e editora Onomatopee Projects. Durante a conversa, irá aprofundar as dinâmicas da Onomatopee enquanto editora, galeria e espaço de apresentação. Onomatopee Projects (2006), projeto dirigido por Freek Lomme, é uma galeria e editora conhecida pelos seus projectos auto-iniciados e transdisciplinares. Drawing upon the curatorial framework of the Porto Design Biennale, Joannette van der Veer (design activism catalyst at Onomatopee) will give an introduction to Post Millennium production of public gallery and publisher Onomatopee Projects. During the talk, she will delve into the dynamics of Onomatopee as a publisher, public gallery and presentation space today. Onomatopee Projects, founded in 2006 and directed by Freek Lomme since, is a curating and editorially led public gallery and publisher that is particularly known for their self-initiated and transdisciplinary projects.
