Jenny Kern:
Born in Toronto, and based in New York City, Jenny Kern just released her debut EP, and 2018 marked her first advance into the alternative indie music world.
The line that separates pop from folk and commercial from indie is getting thinner and thinner. Especially when an artist that mixes both elements can sound both catchy and intimate. Melodic but also introspective. That definitely happens with Jenny Kern’s singer-songwriter style. The Canadian just released her debut EP filled with tracks that embody personal feelings of discomfort building a very relatable, gorgeous and intense set of songs.
For the first time ever in Lisbon and following Valsa and Bom Mau e Vilão shows on the 3rd and 4th of May, she will play an intimate show over our balcony in Lisbon on Sunday 5th. One that should be a gorgeous thing to watch.

About the Organizers:
Where the Music Meets (WtMM) is an online magazine created with the goal of raising awareness on very new indie artists and projects. Presented as a blog curated by musicaholics and based in Portugal, it counts with a fully international audience from the United States to China. WtMM unique design and thoughtful compassionate critics of new indie music have been making an impact in the industry are largely shared and treasured across new indie artists.
The WtMM Balcony Shows have started in 2018 with Josh Savage and are performed at WtMM headquarters in Olivais.

Donation advised: 3 euros p/ person (includes a craft beer - 20cl).

Things Attendees should know:
- Donations are used to cover expense costs by the organization and the artists. The goal of WtMM Balcony Shows is not to make any profit but rather make possible for emerging artists to play home-made shows over at our Balcony in Lisbon.
- During the next days we will announce the opening act.
- Door opens at 4 p.m and close at 6 p.m. Don't be late!
- The address (GPS coordinates) will be sent by email to the first 55 to book their place!
- During each WtMM Balcony Show we will record a clip of one or two of the songs performed. For that we will also capture footage on the audience. If for any reason you don't want to appear on that footage please report that to any of the fotographers.
- The Balcony show is limited by the weather. If it's raining the show will be held in an also intimate wine cellar 30 minutes from Lisbon. This alternative place is only accessible by car, so if that will happen and to accommodate the audience expenses the entrance will be free of charge.
