Talvez a possamos considerar um tipo de subversão. Um processo irónico, transformando o corpo e eu mesma naquilo que quero projetar, explorando o que podemos entender como natural. Um olhar mais atento ao corpo em todos os seus modos, enquanto também se explora a linha entre sexualidade e propósito. O corpo está condenado a uma série de atitudes, poses e leituras; é incapaz de escapar do seu status como uma espécie de história à espera para ser contada e até mesmo as poses mais casuais podem causar uma leitura detalhada sobre o que somos e como chegamos lá.” Rita Lino (2017-2018) B&W - 35mm RITA LINO Portugal, 1986. Vive e trabalha em Berlim. Começou a traçar o seu próprio caminho na fotografia explorando livremente e de forma autorreferencial sem qualquer tipo de preconceito, a imagem do corpo. Utiliza os meios analógicos ou digitais da fotografia para nos mostrar uma “obsessão natural” com o corpo humano, numa intimidade apresentada de um modo visceral. Tem desenvolvido simultaneamente projetos de moda e colaborado com diversas iniciativas e marcas internacionais. An ironical process, turning the body and myself into what I want to project, exploring what we could perceive as natural. A closer look at the body in all its modes while also exploring the line between sexuality and purpose. The body is condemned to a series of attitudes, poses, and readings; it is unable to escape its status as a kind of story waiting to be told and even the most casual poses can cause a detailed reading about what we are and how we arrived there.” Rita Lino (2017-2018) B&W – 35mm RITA LINO Born in Portugal, 1986, currently based in Berlin, Germany. Rita Lino began tracing her own path in Photography by exploring freely and without any kind of pre-conception the construction of the still image of the body. Uses the analog or digital means of photopraghy to show us a “natural obsession” with the human body, in an intimacy presented in a visceral way. Simultaneously Lino has developed fashion projects and collaborated with several international initiatives and brands.
