These sons of nomadism, display sounds and aesthetics that go from the eccentricity of remote cultures to the most metropolitan subversions. Since 2013, this project developed by the brazilian artists Denny Azevedo and Ricardo Don, it’s become a platform for “itinerant cultural movement”, creating happenings, performance, installations, graphic and multimedia arts, about migrations, queer theory, sexual diversity, or urban exploration. The goal of their works is renewing and restructuring cultural symbols, through synesthesia and hedonism, interacting with the audience. Musically they offer a sonic journey through myths and rythms from every continent, blending their research and authorial music project. Throughout vocal experiences, mixing samples with their own lyrics, the songs are an addition to dancing-multiethnical style presented by the duo linking performance, dj-set, live PA and images to add art experiences, resulting in a global-bass cultural patchwork, which leads to a sensitive experience of collective catharsis, giving the audience the role of “collective interpreter” instead of simple witness. Cultural agitators at Brazilian scenario, they’ve been involved in the most important street festivals, in São Paulo and other cities, being part of a generation who find out the public spaces transforming parties as a space of dissemination and artistic resistance. They are responsible for 80 editions of their performance/party, always in unusual and historical venues, trough their concept of “ephemeral urban oasis”. Cigarra) is a DJ, producer and label manager of Tropical Twista Records, grew up in the dense underground scene of São Paulo and participated in the effervescence of its parties and festivals as well as in the original formation of the renowned Voodoohop. A decade ago, she explores unique sets, and from this experience creates her own sound cocoons. In 2016, she released the EP "Límbica", and in 2018 "Ato" by Tropical Twista Records, a label where she is also the director of the exponent of the female compilation Hystereofônica, which has two volumes and more than 60 women involved. Ágatha also expresses her vision of the world as VJ and for now lives in Lisbon, where she organizes the Ancestofuturismo ans Carniçeira parties. In her sonorous landscapes and productions, she immerses herself in the research of sample appropriation (plunderphonics and copyleft) unveiling a popular, peripheral, contemporary and global culture. Birdzzie grew up immersed in a musical environment that includes the radio, records and cassettes. Selector from an early age, began his activities as a professional DJ in 2008, travelling between a big miscellanea of musical styles. That year moved to Brazil and began to produce music, working with soundtrack and audiovisual installations, beside being a part of the original formation of the Voodoohop collective and the revolution of São Paulo's underground scene. Today, back to Portugal to the ascending Lisbon's cultural scene, he is strongly influenced by the chants and rhythms of regional and traditional cultures, that build his own musical identity.
