Tavira é a comunidade representativa de Portugal na inscrição da Dieta Mediterrânica de Portugal como Património Cultural Imaterial da Unesco.
O “barrocal” é uma zona de transição entre o mar e a serra, com solos de barro e calcário é pintado por uma flora diversa, sendo o “pomar de sequeiro” um ponto predominante deste território onde encontramos po oliveiras, amendoeiras, alfarrobeiras e figueiras, sem nos esquecermos da cultura de citrinos que marcam toda a região.
A Quinta da Foia é um dos nossos lugares secretos localizado na Serra de Tavira. Para além da viagem que oferece paisagens únicas, quando chega a este lugar onde a calma predomina, vai deliciar-se com ingredientes que fazem parte desta dos sabores frescos da terra, bem como, em pratos tradicionais que oferecemos no nosso menu.

Quinta da Foia - Dinner dedicated to the Mediterranean Diet
Every Wednesday between July and September

Tavira is the representative community of Portugal in the inscription of the Mediterranean Diet of Portugal as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Unesco.
The "barrocal" is a transition zone between the sea and the mountain range, with mud and limestone soils and is painted by a diverse flora, being the "dry orchard" a predominant point of this territory where we find olive, almond, carob and fig trees, without forgetting the citrus crop that marks the whole region.
Quinta da Foia is one of our secret places located in the Serra de Tavira where, in addition to the trip that offers unique landscapes. When you arrive at this place where the calm prevails, you will be delighted with ingredients that are part of this Diet, rich with flavors, as well as in traditional dishes that we offer in our menu.
