O NARCISISMO DAS PEQUENAS DIFERENÇAS 

Esta serie pretende retratar a juventude de S. Miguel nos Açores.  Este tipo de abordagem vai ao encontro do que eu tenho vindo a desenvolver nos últimos anos - "Jovens de Atenas"(2012), "The Passenger"(2014), "Behaviour of Being" (2015), "Quel Pedra"(2016). Interessa-me a questão insular, perceber como se move a juventude, que tipo de grupos existem, o tipo de abertura e liberdade que têm e como se manifesta. Interessa-me igualmente a genuinidade e a transgressão. Este trabalho pretende ser um retrato intimista de jovens nos seus contextos sociais e paisagísticos.

THE NARCISSISM OF SMALL DIFFERENCES

This series intends to portray the youth of S. Miguel in the Azores. This type of approach goes against what I have been developing in recent years - "Youth of Athens" (2012), "The Passenger" (2014), "The Behavior of Being" (2015), "That Stone" ). I am interested in the insular question, trying to understand how youngsters move, what kind of groups exist, the kind of openness and freedom they have and how it manifests itself. I am also interested in genuineness and transgression. This work intends to be an intimate portrait of young people in their social and landscape contexts.
