Jamie Rodigan
Originally hailing from West London, Jamie Rodigan has grown up with music in his blood. Being the son of the legendary radio broadcaster Sir David «Ram Jam» Rodigan music has played a pivotal role throughout his life. He developed a love for reggae music through his trips to Jamaica in his youth with his father. He was captured by the sweet sound of reggae music. His eclectic DJ sets today reflect these musical experiences growing up. It’s not just Reggae that has formed Jamie’s musical education. He was exposed to a wide range of music from Rare Groove and House to Jungle and Garage.
Jamie started playing music at house parties during his University days where he formed the sound Extra Stout. When he got the call for Extra Stout to play at Rototom Sunsplash in 2008, it was an unmissable opportunity. In 2011, Extra Stout established the dancehall night Mudd Up! in East London. With Jamie Rodigan as a residente selector there, the night grew in popularity.
In 2013 he released «Paranoid Riddim» on the New York label Dubshot which featured appearances by Ras Demo and UK Dancehall star Fowlie Don. In more recent times Jamie has been bursting through the Dancehall scene with notable performances at Rototom Reggae Sunsplash and Toddla T’s Carnival Stage for BBC 1Xtra. 2015 saw a year-long residency at Hoxton Square Bar. With regular dates in the UK and Europe and a new res idency in Dalston, East London Jamie has established himself as one of the top Dancehall selectors from the UK.
In 2016 he teamed up with producer and long-time friend Aaron Horn to collaborate for CRT CLSSX. Red Bull Music premiered their debut track which received support from Mistajam, David Rodigan (BBC 1Xtra) and Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6) amongst others and saw Mixmag described them as «ones to watch” for 2016.
They have collaborated with Secaina on their new track ‘Everything’ with remixes due from acclaimed producers Alizzz and FYTCH. More collaborations are lined up with Aynzli Jones, Suns of Dub and The Skints.

Forward Sound
"On a small village just on the outskirts of St. James in Trinidad, there was a conscious movemement of rastas living in an era where calypso and reggae music played a vital part of day to day living.
The man behind the music scene goes by the name of William Nicholas aka Pappa Bird.
In 1981 he first built the foundation by starting of with a tube amplifier system and playing the greats of that era to an audience of villagers and locals alike.
As time moved on the music collection grew with mainly hard core roots reggae and foundation Rastafarian tributes.
Forward Sound today have seen a lot of changes from back in the 80's not only in terms of turntables to cd and serato, but it's selectors as well.
Cougar Dread , Stones aka Patriot, Lex, and Balzee Dread now take you into the future with the genre just right for your event.
With over thirty years of experience behind the Forward name you are guaranteed total niceness every time in the dance.
