“And Found”, por Aimée Pedezert Após espalhar expressivos retratos pelas ruas de Lisboa e firmar seu conceito artístico através de uma simples questão - “Have you seen this Man/This Woman?”, como num lúdico jogo de busca -, a artista francesa Aimée Pedezert chega a Lost Lisbon com a proposta de responder à pergunta lançada e realizar uma obra colectiva junto aos convidados, a dar forma a uma exposição de “coisas novas”, como uma série criada a partir de intervenções em fotos encontradas e outras obras inspiradas nos locais por onde passa, nas pessoas que conhece e na cidade em que se perde… “And Found”, aberta ao público até 14/05. Na sequência de seu trabalho, marcado pela estética crua do branco e preto - quase sempre tinta da china sobre papel A4 -, Aimée mostra-se mais livre para explorar novos contornos e composições, a exemplo de seus recentes retratos do cotidiano e desta inédita experiência com recortes fotográficos. Neste caso, a partir de pequenos pedaços de imagens reais - de fotos antigas achadas em feiras -, a artista traça diferentes cenários e retratos imaginários para exaltar as relações individuais e os movimentos do ser. Aimée Pedezert (1988) - Nascida em Bordéus, na França, Aimée cultiva sua paixão pelo desenho desde cedo e, além das artes plásticas, também possui formação em linguas e mediação cultural. Radicada há dois anos em Lisboa, onde deu início ao seu trabalho de retratos pelas ruas, a artista mostra-se (oni)presente na cidade e, atualmente, transita com sua obra tanto por ruas e becos quanto por espaços culturais e galerias, vide uma recente exposição inaugurada na Ó Galeria, no Porto. - Em paralelo à exposição, a artista realizará uma intervenção em grande escala no espaço de cowork da Lost Collective, em Campo de Ourique (Rua Ferreira Borges, 121 A). Following his work, marked by the raw aesthetics of white and black - almost always Chinese ink on A4 paper - Aimée is freer to explore new contours and compositions, such as her recent portraits of everyday life and this unprecedented experience with photo cutouts. In this case, from small pieces of real images - old photos found at fairs -, the artist traces different scenarios and imaginary portraits to exalt the individual relationships and the movements of being.
