Agathe Maillol is a french photographer who's been living and creating in Lisbon since 2015. Since 2005, she's been taking analogue photographs and printing them herself in the darkroom. She likes to take care of these images—to treat them with love and patience.
Les Miniatures
Les Miniatures are the series of different pictures I’ve been taking since 2007. I started printing them in the darkroom since I moved to Lisbon. This series grew up and created its own identity. These images were taken in different locations at different times, but have one thing in common: they show things I saw and made me feel at home. Some images seemed to come out of my dreams but, who knows, maybe they entered my dreams instead. I have since figured out the feeling of home was not in some of them but in all of them altogether. They are pieces of a family.

Agathe Maillol é uma artista francesa que vive em Lisboa desde 2015. Tem fotografado desde 2005 e imprime o trabalho dela no Quarto Escuro desde então. Gosta de cuidar destas imagens e de tratá-las com amor e paciência.
Les Miniatures
Les Miniatures são uma série de diferentes fotografias que eu tenho tirado desde 2007. Comecei a imprimi-las no Quarto Escuro desde que vim para Lisboa. Esta série cresceu e acabou por criar a sua própria identidade. Estas imagens foram captadas em sítios diferentes em alturas diferentes mas têm algo em comum: elas mostram coisas que eu vi e me fizeram sentir em casa. Algumas destas imagens pareciam sair dos meus sonhos mas, quem sabe, talvez tenham em vez disso entrado neles. Desde então percebi que o sentir-me em casa não era por causa de nenhuma delas em particular mas por causa de todas elas. Elas formam uma família.
