O PARALLEL Intersection, evento inaugural da PARALLEL - European Photo Based Platform, traz ao Convento da Trindade, em Lisboa, duas exposições:
- Showcase: exposição de 23 fotógrafos emergentes propostos pelos membros da PARALLEL Platform.Cada fotógrafo tem o seu próprio espaço de exibição e é responsável pela instalação e montagem da sua exposição.
- Voices from Europe: cada parceiro da Parallel Platform foi convidado a escolher um artista consagrado que melhor representasse a sua filosofia e papel na cultura visual. Com a curadoria de Rui Prata, a mostra traz a Lisboa a diversidade de ideias, estéticas e práticas de todos os membros do projecto.

dia 7 de Dezembro, a partir das 18 horas, teremos uma visita guiada às exposições, seguida de uma finissage das mesmas.

PARALLEL Intersection, the launching event of PARALLEL - European Photo Based Platform, brings to Convento da Trindade, in Lisbon, two exhibitions:
- Showcase: exhibition of 23 emergent photographers proposed by the members of the platform. Each one was given his own exhibition space and each is responsible for its layout and installation.
- Voices from Europe: each PARALLEL Platform partner was invited to choose the artist who best represented their philosophy and role within the visual culture world. Curated by Rui Prata, the showing brings to Lisbon the diversity of ideas, aesthetics and practices of all the project members.

FINISSAGE:
the 7th December, from 6pm, there will be a guided tour in portuguese, followed by a finissage of the exhibitions
