Alecrim50 is pleased to present The Visitor Projects exhibition Coyote Ugly, a group show featuring a series of recent works by Alexander Harding, Jaime Welsh, Manuel Tainha, Megan Visser, Rafael Escardo and Raquel Melgue.
The Visitor is an independent critical and curatorial platform presenting an on-going programme of exhibitions, talks, screenings and events. Our programme aims to endorse global critical debates while supporting contemporary art practices and collaborating with artists, curators and theorists.
The Visitor emerges as a testing ground for expanded curatorial practices to promote critical research and dialogue, exploring notions of what society is engaging with today.
We aim to foster investigative-based approaches, crossing boundaries between different fields of practice, cultural identities, geographical locations and political contexts.
By focusing on collaborative curatorial practices, The Visitor Projects looks to encourage experimentation and inter-disciplinary exchange between selected artists and practitioners.
We do not own a physical space but rather focus on collaborating with different organizations, independent spaces, galleries, museums and art centres.
