SHAG THAT THING is an intense progressive workshop on Thursday to learn Collegiate Shag – a freshly reborn swing dance from 1930s that’s now sweeping Europe.
This beginners workshop is 3.5 hours with a break in between to catch your breath!
Teachers: Arnas Razgūnas and Eglė Nemickaitė
Topics:
• Part 1: Basics, variations, musicality (1.5h)
• Part 2: Basics, leading & following, musicality (1h)
• Part 3: Classic and cool moves, musicality (1h)
Requirements:
• For total beginner dancers but previous swing dance experience is highly recommended!
• Good physical condition
• Comfortable clothes and shoes necessary!
This is an add-on: you can do this workshop in addition to your full pass or party pass to add more to your Atlantic Swing Festival experience.
