SMT2 - A Journey through several centuries of Porto´s most ancestral “corners”.
This Tour takes place mostly in Sé do Porto neighborhood, in the very deep heart of the historical centre, that can be, in several aspects, together with S.Nicolau, be considered the place where Porto was actually born. Therefore it´s also where we can find some of the oldest archeological findings in what relates to the city´s history. At the same time, we explore a kind of “transition zone” between the historical centre and the already so-called Porto “Oriental Side”. A sort of more “forgotten” Porto but still full of interesting historical, social and cultural elements.
