In the year in which we celebrate 200th birth anniversary of Johann Strauss Jr., this concert will present the world of operetta before and after the great master.
The unique atmosphere of elegant, witty and light-hearted music typical of operettas regardless of the country, as well as emotionally intense and passionate sounds of Neapolitan songs will be brought to you by a combination of wonderful voices of Cláudia Sousa (soprano) and Alberto Sousa (tenor), a string quartet, piano, and the invited virtuoso accordionist Slobodan Sarcevic, all coming together to create a wonderful buoyant atmosphere just in time for a spirited and optimistic entry into the New Year.
