SASHIKO WORKSHOP 

Sashiko (刺し子) é a arte secular japonesa de remendar e embelezar peças de roupa com pontos cosidos à mão. Funde o propósito decorativo à robustez que é conferida às peças, com cada fio de linha que mergulha no tecido. Os resultados desta prática misturam magnetismo estético com vibes terapêuticas. 

Vamo-nos juntar no dia 14 de Dezembro, das 10h às 13h em Sesimbra, para compreendermos a utilidade do Sashiko e testemunharmos, com mãos de fazer, o que tem esta arte de tão belo e enigmático.

Todos os materiais estão incluídos.

O valor varia entre os 35€ e os 50€. Mínimo 6 participantes, no máximo 10.

SASHIKO WORKSHOP
Sashiko (刺し子) is a centuries-old Japanese art of mending and embellishing garments with hand-stitched patterns. It combines decorative purpose with the sturdiness given to the pieces through every thread that dives into the fabric. The results of this practice combine magnetic aesthetics and therapeutic vibes.

Let’s get together on December 14th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Sesimbra, to explore the versatility of Sashiko and to witness, hands-on, what makes this art so beautiful and enigmatic.

All materials are included. Minimum 6 participants, maximum 10.
