Wine and Whine

Traveling and seeing how people live outside of our cosy little neighborhoods has always given us a better understanding of other cultures, as well as ideas about our own place in the world. But in the age of mass tourism where cities are overwhelmed, living spaces overpriced, and every corner shop feels like a designed backdrop for taking selfies, it’s getting harder and harder to imagine travelling without being trapped in a consumerist simulacrum.
As part of our new monthly open roundtable, next Wednesday at Casa da Horta we’ll share experiences and discuss possibilities of travel beyond the notion of tourism. 
So, bring your sandals, socks and your tackiest Hawaiian shirt and join us at the table!
