The Passing Vessel - Workshop in ceramics, perfumery & candles

The Passing Vessel is Sneferu’s signature workshop: an immersive creative experience built around three acts: Receive, Create, & Give.

For the first act, you will choose and receive a handmade ceramic vessel out of a ready selection - glazed and decorated by guests of previous sessions.
Each vessel carries a small note from its maker, creating a fleeting connection across time and space.

In the second act of creation, you will become a master perfumer.
We will teach you about the art and science of perfumery and guide you while you create your original fragrance and pour your bespoke scented candle.

While we wait for the wax to set, you’ll enjoy some snacks & drinks in our magical private garden before the final act of the session: Giving.

You will glaze a porcelain vessel to leave behind for future guests just like yourself. We will provide all the necessary tools, selection of glazes and guidance.

At the end of this workshop you will leave with a candle that carries your original scent, poured into a jar once glazed by another. In return, you’ll pass on a vessel of your own.

This is Sneferu’s most personal, hands-on experience to date.
