Do crioulo de Cabo Verde e da Guiné-Bissau, “sabura” significa, literalmente,“momento ou atividade que dá prazer ou alegria.”O festival representa uma celebração da vida, da alegria e da liberdade, ao som de ritmos dos mais diversos estilos e origens, uma comunhão entre povos e culturas.
A edição deste ano reveste-se de um ainda maior simbolismo, em virtude da celebração dos 50 anos do 25 de abril, e terá como tema a Liberdade
São mais de uma centena de artistas, 50 horas de música, muito convívio, atividades, workshops e diversão garantida para toda a famíliaComeçando pelo funaná de Dino D'Santiago , passando pelo kuduro e a energia da Pongo , o baile cumbiero dos Rosa Mimosa y sus Mariposas , a irreverência da Rita Vian ou da Maria Reis, homenagens várias: de Zeca Afonso à cultura e música da Guiné, há mesmo para todos os gostos!
Mas não paramos por aqui, e viajamos até ao outro lado do Atlântico com o reggae de Bloco do Caos e os graves pesados de Digitaldubs. As boas vibrações não faltarão com a Dub Arena mais uma vez presente e nomes como YT e I-Tal Soup ft Danman para garantir que a festa vai ser

From the Creole of Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau, “sabura” literally means “moment or activity that gives pleasure or joy.”The festival represents a celebration of life, joy and freedom, to the sound of rhythms from the most diverse styles and origins, a communion between peoples and cultures.
This year’s edition has even greater symbolism, due to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of April 25th, and will have Freedom as its theme
