I am Celia from Lithuania, I've traveled through over 20 countries, picking up the art of ceramics from local artists. My passion for clay is a constant adventure, and now, I'm excited to share that journey with you! Throughout our course, we'll explore the essentials of ceramics, experimenting with different clay types and incorporating natural materials for an extra dose of creativity. We'll discuss firing temperatures, texture, and color effects, all with a bit of historical context to make it more engaging. But that's not all! We'll dive deep into the world of techniques, like slab and pinch-pot, crafting our very own unique bowls and coffee cups. Each piece will have its own textures and style, making them truly one-of-a-kind. Of course, no ceramics journey is complete without a deep dive into glazes and pigments. By the end of our time together, you'll have your very own set of unique ceramic pieces to treasure. All materials and firings are provided, so you can focus on enjoying the ride. The total cost for the 3 sessions is €130. It's essential to attend all sessions to make the most of the experience. If you can´t attend one of the sessions, we can schedule the private one for an extra fee. Payments are due a week before the course starts, and I've got you covered with a 30% refund if you need to cancel within the last 5 days.
