In the last century, when he started playing music, there were no "mixes". Vivax took his first steps as a DJ in the early 80s in Lisbon, although in the 70s his appetite for spinning records already made him the preferred selector for numerous garage parties he participated in: a legacy from his father, a music lover of that time. He has been an inspiration to several generations of DJs who have become notable names in the Portuguese deejaying scene in the meantime. His musical versatility allows for various musical wanderings along the extensive and diverse path in music, starting from "easy-listening" and encompassing House, Funk, Techno, Electro, Breakbeat, and ultimately any style associated with quality music.
